November 2018 // surviving a move, finally winter break, 2019??

Well, it’s December.

Okay, as much as I am excited for this month, I am so overwhelmed by the fact that 2018 is coming to a close. Like. In one month.

2018 was a truly amazing year. So many wonderful and horrible things happened this year, and so many lessons were learned. I felt I truly learned so much more about myself this year.

But, it’s time for two months-in-review, so I’d like to share some of my October + November -happenings with you all. ๐Ÿ™‚ Let’s dive right in, shall we?

it’s been a while // ft. star photography

Did you miss me? ๐Ÿ˜‚โœจ

Hi, everyone! I hope you all had a lovely October and start to November. ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ‚

It’s so nice to be back on WordPress! I’ve been itching to get back to blogging for a while, however, I was without wi-fi for a couple days and we’ve just moved! Anyways, I’m so glad to be back to blogging once again, and hopefully no more hiatuses. ๐Ÿ˜‰

So, I feel my little “unplug” from WordPress and other social media was worth it. ๐Ÿ™Œ I am happy to say my priorities have been fixed. The weird thing is… I feel I’ve lost my blogging touch. I’m not really sure how to introduce or write my posts anymore, which is weird. But, hopefully, I’ll get the ha ng of it once I’m able to write some more. I have so many things planned!ย

Otherwise, I’m so grateful to be back and I can’t say how much I missed you all! ๐Ÿ’– I never knew how much blogging had influenced my life– from the bloggers, posts, and my blog itself– until now. Thank you all for the amazing influences you’ve given me in this past year.๐Ÿ‘

Today, I have some recent star photography to share. I had an amazing time taking these up in the mountains. It was fairly difficult, but the photos turned out lovely! Enjoy! โœจ

farewell. (for now)

Hey there! Hope you’re all doing well.

So, this is going to be a much different type of post than what you normally read. But, that’s okay, right?

To start off, I’ve been realizing a lot lately. School has taken up so much time and my old procrastinating habits have gotten the hold of me again. I’ve realized blogging is one of the main reasons behind my procrastinating. Blogging has become such an important part of my life, and I’ve realized I haven’t been balancing my priorities. I haven’t been as productive, and my blogging time has taken over family time, and my other priorities.

The ride has been so much fun, but now it’s time for me to make an honest decision that will hopefully change the way my life is headed at the moment.

This is why I’ve decided to take a little break from the Blogosphere. Just a few weeks off, don’t worry. I know I said I had tons of posts planned this month– I even have a schedule now, but my life isn’t being balanced out as well as it should be. My priorities and planning have been going down-hill, and I honestly need this break.

Like I said, just a few weeks should do it. I need to relax from having pressure to post, and pressure to read posts and reply to comments all the time. I need a break to resume in my life and start figuring out and making the most important priorities important again.

And this is the part where it gets emotional. I really don’t want to say it, but I know it’s the best for me and by the time I get back–which I’m still not sure when– I will be back on track with my life. So, this is farewell. For now. And until I return.

September 2018 // too much schoolwork + procrastinating. again.

So, September’s over. What next. January 2019?

Okay, can I just mention how fast the year is going? Like, guys, 2019 is legit in about two months. (yes i just used the word legit.)

But, seriously, think about it. 2018 is coming to a close. And soon enough it’ll be 2019. Like, I can’t even.

Anyways, enough ranting. It’s autumn, guys! Let’s enjoy this month and hope it doesn’t go by too fast for me. It’s already been really cloudy these past few days.

October– and autumn, in general, is one of my favorite times of the year. Which means more books to read, more tea to drink, and also more pumpkin spice EVERYTHING. So, I hope everyone has a wonderful start to autumn! (except. again. for those Aussies out there. who have spring.)
